award winning framers
Over the years we have framed all sorts of items but a recurring theme has been sports related material. Not only the usual photographs, prints and originals but objects such as cricket bats, football boots, medals, international caps, tickets and programs, oh and the most common of these items - shirts.
Our style of creative framing is well suited to the dynamic world of sport this can include the use of team colours, a national flag, a sponsors logo or colours.
Below is a selection of jobs we have done showing a variety of subjects and styles. Our sports shirts are detailed on a separate page.
A pair of signed boots. The mounts are in the colours of Manchester United, his club at the time, a deep box frame was also required.
A souvenir, program and ticket, for a first visit to Sutton Utd. The team colours have been incorporated into the background mount.
Medals of all sorts can be framed, we suggest including other relevant items like photographs, programs, tickets and passes or running numbers and press cuttings as in this case. We can also print title boxes giving name, place, date and times for example.
A glove signed by Nick Faldo.
I wondered if this should have been in with the sports shirts? This is one of a series of winning jackets all done to the same design, with photograph and title box.
A set of 12 miniture bats, one for each team in the world championship and signed by thier team.
A collection recording a match in the Baseball World Series, featuring the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankies. Included are tickets, press cuttings, team badge and text box. The mount colours used are those of the Red Sox.
Here the balls from a hole in one are displayed, along with score cards, certificates, pictures of the hole and text box showing date and course.
We have framed several bats, often signed by an individual player or whole team, shown here with and without a second top mount.
A baseball signed by Willie Mays with certificate of authenticity. To add a bit of style to this piece 4 mounts have been used, a double mount at the top to contain the design, a raised third holds the text box with cut out for the ball and finally a backing mount of the same colour onto which the ball is mounted.
A souvenier of England's first match at the new Wembley, including tickets, programs and photographs. All built around an English flag design. The score was a late addition, hand carved in mountboard, to the bottom left hand corner. There were two other variations on this design the client could choose from, these can be seen below.
A signed flag from the 18th hole of the British Open.
